A Declaration of Love

I hereby officially announce that I LOVE Dane Cook. This is, due to the adult nature of his comedy, probably not something I should tout. But I can't help myself. His delivery is in a class by itself, his subject matter is original and accessible, and his even the sound of his voice makes me giggle a little.

The first time I really listened to Dane was driving with Tim in our little Opel Meriva throught the Black Forest. I bought some little speakers for my iPod and Tim and I huddled close and listened to Retaliation. I am going to be honest: we almost crashed. I was laughing so hard that I started to hyperventilate and I was CRYING with laughter, I pulled something in the abdominal region... I was literally in FITS of laughter. In the cold rain, I almost crashed from LAUGHING. And it is the sort of thing where you are laughing so hard because you can't believe you are laughing at something so absolutely ridiculous. And I will also mention that it was ONLY because of Dane Cook that I was willing to buy a ticket to something like Employee of the Month. I giggled the first time he talked, just because I love to hear his voice. The movie was not nearly as terrible as I had prepared myself for, and I thought he was charming.

So there you have my shameless adoration of Dane Cook. When you understand the beauty of Su-Fi, The CT 2004, BK Lounge, and s**t on or in the vicinity of the coats, let me know. Dreamy.

I love him too. I saw him on his first appearance on SNL and thought,"Who is this guy, he's really great!"
Since then, I've learned more about him and I'm a huge fan.
I just found your site and I love it. And I love you and miss you. You don't send me flowers. In fact, you hardly talk to me anymore, when you come through the door at the end of the day. What can we do about that? Call me or email or something. Reconnections can be very satisfying.

No way!!! Bubblebutt!! I am so happy you found me! I am glad that we have a shared love of Dane, a shared love of people named Heather, and an eternal bond which goes much deeper than simple gum-swapping on the hill at the Shell. Oh, I may have said too much.
