German Podcasts

So, I know I've been slow getting on the bandwagon, mostly because, and I hardly dare admit it, as I will either be lynched or receive multiple expensive gifts (possibly a hint, rich friends, wherever and whoever you are), I am not an iPod owner. I can't believe it. Oh well. I also spend a lot of the day at the computer, but not really in a place I can listen to anything online. So, I didn't get into podcasts much, but I have recently seen the light. I am going to Germany in May, in a bit of a translator position, but I haven't spoken German consistently for 10 years. Enter: iTunes International Podcasts. I have subscribed to a variety of German-language podcasts, and I can now tell you your daily horoscope (if you are a Krebs, Zwillinge, Stier, or a Widder like me), the weather in Bavaria, and all the latest in German literature. It's great. So, all of you who speak a rather rusty Russian, itty-bit icky Italian, or super sloppy Spanish, brush up your skills and your ear with a wildly exotic podcast with an international flavor. Viel Spaß beim Podcast zuhören!
