I Love the Dentist!!

I took my sweet little Fox Mulder to the vet this past weekend- he has an injury to his eye which had me really worried, but should heal, thank heaven. While we were there and had him sedated, he had his teeth floated-- filed down. This is a regular part of horse life, and as they get older, it has to be done more often so they can continue chewing their food. I took this little photo of Fox so that we humans can greater appreciate our visits to the dentist. Yeah, that's a power drill, and yes, that is a 40 pound speculum forcing his jaws open. Lucky, lucky humans.
